QA Therapy Department help
We had an email from Katy and Debbie back in early April asking us if we could make some table tops for wheelchairs.
These would allow their patients to perform arm exercises from their wheelchairs. Stewart and Terry made a visit to the therapy department, where we discussed their requirements. One problem was what size we should make them, as there are many different size chairs. We created a prototype and returned for a trial fitting, this showed that one adjustable size nearly fitted all.
So we managed to cut four from the prototype size, and two slightly larger ones for the oversize chairs. We made all the fittings from stainless steel that we had kicking around in the shed. We finally took the finished tops to the therapy department on the 25 July.
Terry and Stewart couldn't resist trying them out for size, don't get too comfortable boys you still have use of your legs.
